Our first real Christmas tree...

since Drew was 2 months old!! The kids were so excited about the Christmas tree this year, we decided to try a real one...so we packed up in the rain and set out to find a tree. We couldn't find any tree farms to cut it down yourself anywhere near us, some day we will make the trek to get one...when the kids are a wee bit older! As it was, we went to a nursery and the kids were overwhelmed with choices, but we finally found the perfect tree!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Nov. 27th: We spent Thanksgiving in Chardon this year. As is usual for the snow capital of Ohio, they had plenty of snow, when we had none back at home in Dublin! The kids were super excited and built a snowman pretty much as soon as we got there. Here is a picture of them with their snowman the next day.

We got home and I realized I forgot to take a picture of Will in his 1st Thanksgiving outfit during the day, so tried to grab a quick picture, but someone was not too cooperative with sitting still!

Nov. 29th: Drew decided since he was always at school during the day, he never got to feed Will :) So he gave him his morning bottle today...

Nana and Papaw came over to visit and Drew and Nana were playing basketball...Will kept crawling onto the "court" and so Nana thought she would let Will score a basket, but they discovered a small problem, which Drew thought was hillarious...

I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus

Nov. 25th: One of Drew's piano songs last week was "I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus" so we had "youtubed it" as Drew says, and Alex and Katie enjoyed the song so much, they must have watched it 10 times per day, at least. Soon Alex started singing it, we tried catching her singing it a dozen times, and Rich finally was able to record her singing along with the computer...

Alex, the tiny tackler!

Nov. 17th: Drew plays football pretty much all the time anymore, one evening as he and Rich were tossing the Nerf ball around, Alex decided to tackle Drew! It was too funny to see her scrawny little self (even tinier in her Ariel nightgown) trying to tackle Drew, and Drew playing along so well :)

Nov. 22nd: And here's a cute video of Will laughing at Katie...she was jumping off the train table in the basement and trapping a ball with her butterfly net and he was just cracking up...don't mind Alex in the video, she keeps getting pushed out of the way because when the camera is rolling, she has to be right there...

Drew's Fall Piano Recital

Nov. 9th: Drew had his fall recital. We found out this winter that Drew has perfect pitch! We're not sure what this means for him, but it is an interesting talent no matter what! Here he is playing his solo piece, Alexander March:
