Another day, another princess dress...

March 19th: After soccer, Katie came home and dressed in one of her princess dresses and paraded around quite a bit.






March 20th: Drew, with some crazy hair after swim lessons!! It's unusual to get a picture of him without a cheesy smile, he's still learning how to smile without the fake look! And, great news! We found out yesterday that Drew has been accepted to St. Brigid for kindergarten! He's so very excited to start school!







March 22nd: I tried to get some pictures of Alex last night, but she wasn't really in the mood. Her hair is finally growing, and the Urbancic curl has shown up.

Katie's First Day of Soccer

March 19th: Katie started soccer today. She's been watching Drew play and just couldn't wait to get out there herself! We got there, and she just ran right out, she knew just what to do! Here she is stretching...she's in the light pink with pigtails 3rd from the left.

Here is a quick video of Alex, with her favorite accessory, saying "Cheese!"...one of her very few words. As soon as she sees the camera, though, she says "Cheese!"

Happy 3rd Birthday to Katie!!

March 18th: Katie is 3!! She was so excited to be a birthday girl. Whenever someone would tell her Happy Birthday, she would reply "Thank you, and Happy Birthday to you, too!" So polite. I asked her what she wanted to wear to her party (we had pizza and cake with our friends, the Footes and the Thompsons) and she chose Drew's frog Halloween costume. And she could not be talked out of it, so the frog it was!!

Katie's Dora cake that I had promised her! She was just very excited to eat cake, I think, but she did think the Dora was pretty cool!

In our house, the frog turned into the princess!! Katie got a couple of princess dresses and she immediately ditched the frog costume in favor of the flapper dress!

Earlier in the day, we drove to Springfield to have lunch with Nana, Pappaw, Uncle Brad, and Aunt Brittani. Alex is not a fan of long car rides right now, so the trip there was a long one. At least, she slept on the way home! Here is a picture of Uncle Brad rocking away with Katie.

Accessories and more

March 14th: Katie showing off her new sunglasses. She's such a little diva! I tell her she's a cool cat, and she meows! She used to do that last summer too.

March 15th: Alex's choice of accessory currenlty is her hat. She will find her hat (any hat will do, this is an old hat of Drew's that she loves) and bring it to anyone around to have them put it on her. Then she laughs and laughs.

March 15th: Alex, with her hat, underneath a tunnel in Drew and Katie's obstacle course. She loves tunnels.

March 18th: Alex sporting her favorite accessory on yet another day.

March 18th: Katie attempting to have a tea party with her baby sister. Alex had a little trouble concentrating on the tea party, though!

March 18th: Alex's new trick. She can now open the bathroom door, and she pushed the stepstool over to the toilet and climbed right on up! I was just happy the older kids remembered to put the lid down!

Drew on two wheels!

Drew has been asking me to put a video of him riding his bicycle without the training wheels on here so that Granny and Grandpa can see him go! We videotaped him back in Nov. when we first took off the training wheels, but I haven't figured out how to get that onto the computer! I took another video the other day with our digital camera so that I could put it on there. He's doing really well, especially since he's had really limited time to practice through the winter!

March 10th:
Katie had a lot of fun going down the slide with Alex.

My sister, Allison, sent me these pictures of my nieces enjoying a day out at the park as well! I thought it was cute to see Halle on the slide by a picture of Katie on the slide. Halle is 2 months older than Katie.








Had to put a picture of Ashlynne on here too! She loves her swing!! I have beautiful nieces!!

Alex at the Park

March 10th:
Alex had so much fun at the park! This became her favorite place very quickly, she loved crawling through the tunnel! Rich could hear her giggling from the other side of the park!

She'd climb up and then just sit here, and laugh. She's so funny.

Alex also loved the slide! She'd climb right out there, and she would start yelling "Wheee!" long before we'd even give her the push to go down!

At the Park

March 11th:
A beautiful day here in Ohio! We spent almost all of last weekend outdoors. On Sunday, we went to one of the Dublin elementary school's playgrounds. This one is next to the library and the kids really love this park. This was the first time Alex has been big enough to run around and have fun herself, instead of being stuck in a stroller! And she had so much fun, we just had to get some pictures!






I just love this picture, because it shows just how tiny she is! The same height as the swing!












Drew doing one of his favorite things: kicking the soccer ball! Outdoor season starts back up April 7th, he is so excited!












Not a great picture of Katie, since she's looking the other way, but she loves to go down the poles. At least this is a short one, she usually likes the ones that are 8 feet high that really make us nervous! But, she is fearless, and actually quite good at them!









Not even a huge bump on the head from falling on the pavement could keep Alex down! She has tears, but is back to playing happily once she got in the fire truck!

Matching Jammies

March 10th:
Just cute pictures of Katie and Alex after a bath, wearing their matching jammies. Katie was really excited to have the same pajamas as Alex, but Alex didn't really seem to notice!!

After Bath Snuggle

March 7th:
After baths, the kids usually run and jump in our bed to get under the covers and get warm. Last night, Katie jumped in there, so I put Alex beside her to get warm too. They were so cute, like little bugs in a rug!!




Katie always tells Alex, "It's okay, Baby. Don't cry. Mommy's coming" when she cries or fusses. She's such a good big sister (when she's not in a torturing mood!)

Drew was feeling a wee bit left out, so he jumped in for a picture too!!

Grandma Helen's Visit

March 7th:

Grandma Helen had to go back home to Chardon, Ohio. We had a great visit with her and the kids were sad to see her go. As usual, trying to get a picture of all 3 kids proved to be difficult. Thank goodness for digital cameras!! Sadly, these were the two best pictures! Even more sad that the 5 year old was the least cooperative!

March 3rd:
Grandma Helen came to visit on 3/2/07. Alex took to her right away. Here they are playing happily together!











March 4th:
We decided to celebrate Katie's birthday early since Grandma Helen was here visiting. Grandma Sherry and Grandpa Ken came over to celebrate too. This was a very last minute attempt at a Dora cake. I promised her a better one on her birthday! Right now, all she cares about is that after this birthday, she will be 3 and she will be old enough to take swim lessons like Drew!
